Bridget Flannery

Bridget Flannery was born in Cork in 1959 and educated at Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork. She was a member of the Visual Arts Committee of Éigse Carlow for five years and exhibited as Invited Artist at ÉIGSE FOUR TIMES. Her solo shows include Cross Gallery, Dublin; Pigyard Gallery, Wexford; The Possibilities of Stillness at Ashford Gallery RHA, Vangard Gallery, Cork; Cesis Museum, Cesis, Lativia; Maksla Galerjia, Riga, Lativa; Atelier Galerie, Kiel, Germany and Triskel Art Centre, Cork. She has participated in many group shows such as Tsinghua Academy of Fine arts, Beijing, China; SiNordic Arts Centre, Beijing; Boyle Arts Festival; Spring Gallery, Aukland, New Zealand; Cross Gallery, Dublin; Butler Gallery, Kilkenny; Fenton Gallery, Cork; Lavit Gallery, Cork (John Shinnors Selection and Tim Goulings Selection). In 2010 she showed at the Fenderesky Gallery Belfast and was also selected for the RHA annual Summer Show in 2011 and Éigses thirty-year retrospective as Invited Artist at VISUAL 2010.
